Plan For Wnter Holiday

I’m looking forward to the coming of my winter holiday. In order to have a good time in the vacation, I have made a plan for it. At first, my mother must ask me to do homework. If I don’t follow her words, I wouldn’t have peace in the following days until I finish my homework. So the first thing I will do in the winter holiday is to finish my homework. And then I will take full use of my time to go out play with my friends, because I will have to help my mother to prepare for the Spring Festival when it’s in the corner. Three days before Spring Festival, I will go to my grandmother’s home for a visit with my parents. After the Spring Festival I am going to travel with my family. As for where to go, I don’t have any plan now. Maybe we will go to Harbin to the snow. Being the southern local person, I have never seen snow and eager to see it once. 我期待寒假的到来。为了过一个愉快的假期，我制定了一个寒假计划。首先，我的妈妈肯定会叫我去写作业的。如果我不听她的话，在接下来的日子里我就不会过得安宁，除非我完成了作业。所以寒假里我要做的第一件事就是完成我的作业。然后我会充分利用我的时间去和我的朋友玩，因为在春节即将到来的时候我要帮我妈妈准备春节的事情。春节前三天，我会和爸爸妈妈去外婆家。春节后我打算与我的家人去旅行。至于去哪里，我还没有计划。也许为了看雪我们会去哈尔滨。作为南方本地人，我从未见过雪，很希望能看一次。旅行之后，我想我也该准备回学校了。这是我即将到来的假期计划。你的是什么呢？

I like reading in my free time. I've read all kinds of books which are written by many famous writers from all over the world. But I like a Chinese writer best. His name is Xu Zimo.

Xu Zimo was born in a big family. His parents were good at writing and his father taught little Xu by himself. When Xu Zimo was very young, he was interested in reading. Fables, stories or novels were his favorites and he often nearly forgot eating and sleeping.

When Xu was about six years old, he began to write some short stories. He was always practising writing and he did better and better. But he still kept on reading, because he always believed that “Reading makes a full man, a ready man and an exact man.”

When he grew up, his life dream came true. He became a world-famous writer. Not only Chinese but also people from other countries worshiped Xu Zimo. His writing was enjoyed by all the people. Everybody thought that Xu's works were so nice and great. From his writing, people can understand a lot. I have learnt that if someone wants to be a great person, he must work hard!

Secondly， even though there is no single cleaning facility in the dormitory， it can help me adapt myself to the surrounding and learn how to live in harmony with others。 What’s more， although I’m a person who loves freedom， I hope the dormitory life could make my life more regular and meaningful。

Last but not least， the fees of the dormitory is far cheaper than the renting room。 Choosing the former one will make easier to me to afford it by myself。

In a word， it is absolute for me to choose the university dormitory。 As the facts I mentioned， I believe it is a wise choice。

Since the College Entrance Examinations are approaching, more and more Senior Three students find themselves under great pressure now. Some find it difficult to fall asleep, some have a poor appetite, and others are afraid of exams. As a result, Effective Ways to Release the Stress has become a heated issue. Here are several ways I think effective to release the stress.

First of all, we must bear in mind that stress is really natural and we needn’t worry about it at all. In fact, proper stress may stimulate our brain efficiency and we will perform better under proper stress.

Secondly, if we cannot conquer the fear of stress, just shift our attention to other aspects, such as listening to music. As for myself, I often listen to light music when I feel stressed, and I always find myself refreshed and relaxed during the process. Besides, doing sports can have the same effect as well.

Last but not least, we can turn to our parents and teachers for help. Keep in mind that they are not only the adults we depend on but also our reliable friends. If I talk to them, I will feel I am not a single person and supported both physically and mentally by them.

As far as I am concerned, the key to releasing the stress is that we should keep a steady mood and trust ourselves to be surely successful!
